Oscar Galindo | Prep Redzone Scout
Team: 412 Elite
Carter Jones, out of Pennsylvania, is a player who is going to land on recruiting boards as soon as teams start scouting the ’31 class. Carter played both receiver and DB for 412 Elite, but I was impressed with his play at cornerback, where he had one of the best interceptions I’ve seen, regardless of division. Jones is a lengthy DB with solid size that should continue to develop well in the upcoming years. He plays a physical style of football, as he won’t hesitate to press receivers at the line and knows how to play through the receivers’ hands to force incompletions. Great mobility and change of direction allow him stay in-step with receivers through their routes.
