Nate Wahl | Prep Redzone Scout
Carter’s stock rose significant due to his performance at the NDSU prospect camp this summer in which we had a front row seat to his rise. He was by far one of the top testers amongst the defensive line group and when you loop in what his 6’4 215 pound frame looks like you can see why the Bison pulled the trigger on a camp offer in which the hometown kid committed to on the spot. Moving up 50+ spots, Carter shows off not only excellent vision but excellent range for his frame in which I could see the Bison seeing Carter as a hybrid between defensive end and outside linebacker while he grows out his frame in Fargo. He also has as you would expect very long strides which was a striking chord for in watching him at NDSU this summer. Carter checks in at #10 overall and DL2 in the 2025 North Dakota class.
