The 6’0 230 pounder is a thumper of a middle linebacker that has a well-versed tackling ability that makes you think he he is even bigger than his frame shows off as a guaranteed tackler in the middle of the field for the Packers defense. He boosts fluid hands getting off blocks to the point of attack as that might be one of the better skillsets Asher has at his disposal, is having meat-grinder type hands to meet the ball carrier even in tight windows. He also has a bigger motor than he might get credit for in my eyes.

Asher is a 6’0 230 pound linebacker out of West Fargo in the 2027 class that shows off some intriguing tape with solid upside brewing in Week 1 against Bismarck. The athletic movement Asher has for his size in pass-coverage appears to be fluid too in my eyes. It’s clear when you watch his clips from Friday night, that when this young man makes contact with the ball carrier he comes off like a bull at the rodeo with his sudden movement and hit stick. Hopefully get to see more grow the more we get deeper in the season.
