Cummings displays good speed and burst downfield with ability to win one-on-one battles. Effectively high-points the ball, really goes up for it, and wins contested catches. Cummings finished last year with 1,044 receiving yards with nine total touchdowns. So far, he does not have any offers and is one of the state’s most under-the-radar recruits.

Cummings is a productive outside receiver with good traits and speed. He’s able to stretch a defense and keep them honest. He’s got good ball skills and won’t drop an easy ball. He’s got minimal wasted movement off the line and can create space against man coverage. He had a fairly productive junior year, getting an All-State nod with 70 receptions for 1044 yards and 9 TDs.

Cummings is a clean route runner whose confidence clearly grew as the season went on. He’s sharp getting in and out of breaks, doesn’t chop his feet, and doesn’t waste steps. He’s reliable and won’t make many mistakes, which makes him easy to trust on key downs. In year two, he pulled in 26 catches for 351 yards and 4 touchdowns. There’s a smoothness to his game that makes everything look under control, and I wouldn’t be surprised if he takes another step forward this fall.
