Apelu checks into our offensive line rankings inside the top 4 at the position and just inside the top 30 overall across Idaho. He is a true interior road grader that snaps out of his stance and gets immediate vertical push and displacement inside. He has a quick first step and shows a strong and balanced base throughout his block progressions while able to scrape to the second level and even pull needed. He moves well for his size and projects as a interior prospect in college. In past protection he has patient hands, is not a lunger and can anchor against bull rushers and move quickly enough to diagnose stunts/twists upfront. He is a no brainer D3+ kid that should be gathering college interest sooner rather than later.
