Shoffner is an electric playmaker with suddenness and elusiveness that make him a nightmare to contain in space. He shows outstanding short-area quickness and the ability to create yards after first contact with sharp cuts and fluid lateral agility. Shoffner is equally dangerous slipping through creases in the hole as he is in the open field, where his acceleration and creativity routinely leave defenders grasping at air.
