is another 2026 prospect that has been on our radar for a while now. He’s been productive for the Cougars but this season, that production absolutely exploded and he became one of the top running backs in Class 4A and that is a class that is loaded with running back talent. Richardson put up big numbers this season and became a guy that would consistently go for 150 yards and two or three touchdowns. Simply put, he became one of the breakout stars this season and he’s a guy in the state’s 2026 class that should get more attention from college coaches in the next few months. It hasn’t mattered who Richardson and the Cougars were going against, he was able to produce at a high level. He’s definitely a guy who’s improved to the point of becoming a legitimate big time RB prospect.

at the running back position. As a sophomore, Richardson ran for a little over 250 yards and two touchdowns. Last season, Richardson would go for more than 1,100 yards and 17 touchdowns and he was playing some of his best football towards the end of the season. He had back to back 200-yard games late in the regular season and became a touchdown machine. Including the playoffs, Richardson would score 12 of his 17 touchdowns in the final five games of the season. If he can start this season how he ended last year, he will have a big senior season.

but he has the potential to be a breakout player for the Ada offense. As we mentioned with Boyles, there aren’t many concerns with the passing offense as they could end up being one of the better units in the state. That could also provide an opportunity for Richardson this season. Opponents are going to look to slow down Ada’s offense and their passing game. That could open the door for Richardson to provide a significant impact in the running game. The Ada coaches are excited about his potential for the Ada offense this fall.
