Fay has been a disruptive force up front, using his strength and a quick first step to set the tone defensively. With 17 total tackles, 8.5 tackles for loss and 2.5 sacks, he consistently collapses the pocket and limits offensive momentum. Fay’s awareness and pursuit have also led to a caused fumble and a fumble recovery, showcasing his ability to make game changing plays. He has been able to impose his will on the line and is creating pressure and forcing mistakes, using his motor and playing through the whistle. Fay continues to emerge as one of the more complete defensive linemen in 2A, combining physicality, discipline and leadership to anchor his team’s defensive front.
