Caleb Brewer Caleb Brewer 6'5" | 285 lbs | OL Wyomissing | 2024 State PA the Penn State commit played a great game on both sides of the ball. He was his usual dominant offensive lineman. He also did a great job at the defensive line by making plays in the backfield. Finally, he showed a motor that never quits. Penn State is getting a good player.

The state Champion and now top-ten lineman has done enough to earn a spot over Caleb Brewer Caleb Brewer 6'5" | 285 lbs | OL Wyomissing | 2024 State PA . Admittedly, you can ask me any day of the week who I’d take over Cory and Brewer and the answer might be different each day. Both do different things very well, I imagine coaching staffs view Cory to have the higher floor as to Caleb Brewer Caleb Brewer 6'5" | 285 lbs | OL Wyomissing | 2024 State PA carrying the higher ceiling. Either way, the two round out the top five at the position, a top illustrious top five that might be the best in terms of talent that I’ve covered throughout my years at Prep Redzone.
We see the value both Wyomissing and Pine-Richland receive out of these two anchors, as both programs are expected to see the same State-Championship expectations that they’ve received in the past, largely in part due to these two young men. 2023 classes are long gone, moving on to the next level. There’s going to be extended pressure on these two in particular set keep the bar set by the ones who came before them.

Head Coach James Franklin and staff have put together a wonderful 2024 offensive lineman class through the first week of June. Before we dip our toe into Pennsylvania lineman commits, it’s worth noting the out-of-state success the program has had in the Mid-West, as well as down South. Going back to April of this year, Penn State secured commitments from two Wisconsin prospects, those being Catholic Memorial’s Donovan Harbour, as well as Arrowhead’s Garrett Sexton. Losing Heywood and Cory to Wisconsin this week doesn’t hurt as bad when taking this perspective. Sexton and Harbour are both 4-star recruits.
Penn State also landed Eagan Boyer out of North Carolina in the same month. Within the week, PSU landed Deryc Plazz out of Jacksonville, Florida. This class alone is enough to stack up against Big10 counterparts. Let’s add the two PA lineman staying home, those being McDowell’s

is the wild-card of the group. How will PSU mold this clay? How will Brewer, a still growing prospect, develop under the PSU developing umbrella? It could make or break their OL class if the program fails to add additional tackle prospects.
