Verdigris has several standouts on the offensive side of the ball but we’re putting a spotlight on senior Caden Parnell Caden Parnell 5'11" | 180 lbs | RB Verdigris | 2023 State OK , who will mostly make an impact as a running back on Friday night. Parnell has been playing some of his best football at the running back position over the last two weeks. Coming into the playoffs, Parnell had just 391 yards and eight touchdowns on the ground. In their first two playoff games alone, Parnell has run for 345 yards and six touchdowns. He’s scored three touchdowns in each of the first two playoff games. The Cardinals will look to Parnell to continue his hot streak this season. Parnell has also filled in at quarterbacks at times this season and he’s turned around and led the team in interceptions on defense. Parnell will look to continue impacting the game in every phase this week.
