Howard also played a role on defense as a senior, finishing the year with 39 tackles, one tackle for loss, and two interceptions. Caden holds several offers and I can see him developing into a productive college receiver wherever he ends up playing.

He demonstrates impressive linear speed and is skilled at quickly changing direction while running routes. In one-on-one pass situations, Caden excels at highpointing the football and tracking passes, even if they are not thrown perfectly. He also handles press coverage well, using his length and speed to get past defenders off the line of scrimmage. College coaches should pay attention to him now before it’s too late.

Howard is a very impressive route runner, showing the ability to use smooth breaks in his routes to create separation. He is also dangerous after the catch, using his speed and elusiveness in the open field to turn short passes/screens into big gains. Caden has also made an impact on defense with 28 tackles, two tackles for loss, and one interception so far this season. Howard doesn’t currently hold any offers but he should be a player to keep an eye on over the next two seasons.
