Anthrop had a solid year 2 and has taken a step in year 3. He’s got a bigger and stronger frame with good strength down the field. He has strong hands, does a good job looking the ball all the way in, and can threaten defenses vertically. He had 3 TDs in week 5 using all of those traits. I like the progress he’s made from year 2 to year 3, and the added size and strength are starting to show up in his game.

Anthrop put together a solid season, even if it started a bit slow before he found his rhythm. As the year went on, you could see the confidence build. He became more involved with several big games down the stretch. He has the ability to stretch the field and threaten defenses vertically. The production finished at 32 catches for 604 yards and 8 TDs, showing how much he grew into a consistent contributor and is someone who I think really pops off this fall.

The final receiver in the state of Kentucky without an offer who has stood out to me is Cade Anthrop Cade Anthrop 6'2" | 180 lbs | WR Campbell County | 2028 State KY . Cade had an impressive sophomore season, leading his team with 32 receptions for 604 yards and eight touchdowns in 11 games. Anthrop is a very reliable deep threat, using his speed to his advantage to create separation from opposing defensive backs. He has also shown the ability to pick up extra yards after the catch and does a great job of adjusting to the ball when passes are under thrown or off target. Cade also returned a kickoff for a touchdown as a sophomore and played a key role on defense, finishing the year with 29 tackles, one tackle for loss, one sack, and a team-high three interceptions. Anthrop will be a player to keep an eye on as he continues to develop over the next two years.
