Metcalf is a good, versatile two-way player who can make an impact on both sides of the ball. Offensively, he can line up on the outside and make plays down the field, showing the ability to stretch a defense. I like his vision and instincts even more on defense. He has fantastic range, glides sideline to sideline with ease, and covers a lot of ground without looking like he’s overworking. He tracks the football well in the air and has the ball skills to come away with interceptions when the opportunity is there. I could see him helping a team in multiple spots, but the defensive traits intruige me.
