Expert Analysis
Jared Luginbill | Prep Redzone Scout
After spending his first two years of high school at West Clermont, Lyttle has made the move to Elder. Lyttle played both sides of the ball as a defensive lineman and tight end. For me he definitely projects to the defensive tackle position at the college level. On the inside of the line his length and flexibility will play up. He has active hands and shows the ability to bend and get skinny to decrease blocking area. There’s one specific play that I saw where he showed a nice swim move to quickly beat an interior offensive lineman. Where he has a chance to grow his game is in his ability to be violent, explosive, and anchor at the point of attack. The ability to violent at the point of attack will help to unluck that athleticism. I’m excited to see Lyttle’s continued development.
