Strong start to the season for the talented dual-threat QB. At 6’0” 195 lbs. he possesses a live arm and good natural instincts for the position. He shows good awareness and ability to quickly process his reads to find a target. The ball jumps out of his hands when pushing vertically or driving it into a tight window at the short/intermediate levels but can also throw with touch to place it over the top of defenders. Can be an accurate passer from the pocket or on the run to either direction. Smooth runner of the football that can see open lanes and find space. In four games this season, he’s thrown for almost 800 yards and 10 touchdowns while completing 63% of his passes. Early offer from Nevada as a freshman but hasn’t seen any come in since. Looking to add to it as a senior.
