What pops out right away with Brogan on tape, is his driving downhill hands that create leverage seemingly right or around the ball-carrier which shows off his good short area vision to close down on the ball carrier early on a persistent basis. Brogan is as balanced as they come whether working from the right or left side at defensive end as there isn’t wiggle room on where he is more effective from. FCS and Division 2 interest has been flying in thus far this fall season and is another Nebraska product that has taken a game day visit to South Dakota State this season.

Our DL4 in the 2028 rankings was an enforcer with his hands from the Week 1 he had against Norris on the defensive line. Brogan showed off not only the phyiscal hands you wanted to see in the inside box, but the balance you wanted to see with his footwork as even with the force he showed he was able to stay consistently on his line and utilzed his short area vision to close in on the ball carrier. He led with violence and got off blocks fluidly in Gretna East’s 27-20 win over Norris.

The Griffins’ cupboard is far from empty after graduating a great ’26 class, as they saw several young guns contribute big time to their state runner-up squad. One of those standouts is sophomore Brogan Moyer Brogan Moyer 6'2" | 255 lbs | DL/OL Gretna East | 2028 State NE , who was a quiet but key part of their defensive line, recording 68 tackles, 2 TFLs, and a forced fumble. The aspect of Brogan’s game that stood out to me the most was his high effort and tireless motor. He fires off the ball very well and is quick to shoot his hands to create space. Once he’s disengaged from blockers, Brogan does an excellent job tracking the ball and possesses the lateral quickness to hawk down RBs. Solid use of leverage and strong leg drive to move linemen off the ball. With the type of linemen coming out of the Griffin program recently, Brogan could see himself gaining recruiting attention sooner rather than later.
