Mentor had a fantastic season finishing 12-1. A big reason for that season was the growth of Jones as their starting Quarterback. He measured in at 6’2 177. He had a strong 40 time with a 4.72 and posted solid times in both the L and shuttle drills. Throwing the ball he showed a quick release and could put the ball into windows. Playing a schedule like Mentor does, Jones will have the opportunity to grow as a quarterback and continue to compete against high level competition and put out strong film. I think Jones recruitment could really take off this summer.
