Turner played inside linebacker for the state semifinalist Elder Panthers. He finished third on the team with 90 tackles. Turner plays the game on a downhill plane. For a sophomore his read-and-react is solid and with more reps I expect him to trust his eyes and become even more attacking and downhill. In run defense, he does a good job of splitting and avoiding blockers. At 6’2 225 he also possesses the size and physicality to take on blockers and stuff the run. If Brody continues to develop his speed and explosiveness, I believe he can take his game to a whole new level.
