Jones is extremely good at getting open- he finds ways to gain separation against all types of defensive backs, at every level of the field, in every game. Jones is a great route runner- he has a quick release, gets out of his breaks, and constantly finds ways to shake off DBs at or beyond the line of scrimmage.
When open, Jones does a great job securing catches and making defenders miss after the catch- he does a great job avoiding unnecessary contact and can make a ton of plays with the ball in his hands.
Jones was one of the top receiving leaders in the state all season long- he ended his junior season with 101 receptions for 1581 yards and 15 touchdowns.
