About Brody

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I execute as a disciplined route runner creating separation from defenders. I have reliable hands and a strong catch radius to secure catches in multiple scenarios. My field vision (I have 20/15 vision) and agility help me to gain in yardage post reception turning short passes into significant gains. I am adaptable & versatile in many receiver alignments.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

Hard worker, determined, respectful and adaptable. I hold myself to a higher standard, on and off the field. I have maintained a three year, high honor roll grades with a strong work ethic as well as a consistent performer on the field. I am a team player and enjoy that culture when playing sports.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

Special Olympics - referee Member of Fellowship of Christian Athletes YouthLife group through my church South Iredell JV Football game broadcaster/commentator South Iredell football camp counselor South Iredell baseball camp counselor South Iredell Booster Club - volunteering Honor Roll

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I celebrate other's successes & encourage others to do the same. Be a leader in setting the tone to work as a unit, encourage sideline communication and keep the teams morale on a high note. I listen, appreciate any feedback given and apply without ego.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I wouldn't say significant but a coach not being supportive and saying I wouldn't amount to anything. Not letting his negativity get inside my head and pushing through it. Would not let him destroy my spirit.

What type of college are you looking for?

I am not set on a specific major at this time, I would want to earn a four year degree. I have strong math & science skills and I believe I have business sense. I would like to play for a D1/D2 college enabling me to learn and grow my skills /strengths to the next level on the field. Culture is very important to me so that would definitely be a deal maker.

When we saw how well Hunt performed at our Prep Redzone Showcase, we were a bit surprised at his refined route running and sure hands. So, we’re not at all surprised that he’s having a breakout senior year. He has over 700 yards, including a school record-breaking 312-yard, four-touchdown outing.
