‘s physical frame and size of 6-foot-3 and 265 pounds gives him the look of a future Power 4 DT. Earning an offer from the new Iowa State staff over the weekend, Robertson will have his opportunity to play big time football.
With long arms that afford him opportunities to shed blocks and reach out and grab a ball-carrier before they escape his grasp, Robertson’s frame allows him to take up a ton of space on the defensive line. Often facing double-teams, Robertson’s violence allows him to breakoff from the opposing offensive line and pursue the ball-carrier.

Robertson stuck out to me pretty early on during an in-person scout in Week 2 of the 2025 season. Part of it was the frame as a prep sophomore. It also had to do with his performance against North Scott, too. Robertson registered 4.5 tackles (.5 TFL). The statistics only tell part of the story, however. The 10th-grader was eating up double-teams, keeping linebackers and safeties clean to make plays. Robertson showed a mature game, operating with the framework of the defense. He held up well against North Scott’s challenging RPO game. Robertson has plenty of room to grow in terms of strength and sharpening his skills, which is exciting for the future and gives him a sizable ceiling.
