Kaufmann is an intriguing prospect to me and seems like a guy who could be a late bloomer, but when the blossom fully happens, you get an animal. While I do think he’s a bit undersized to play on the line at the next level, he’s got the athletiscm and perfect size to drop back to the second level. He plays incredibly physically and has no issue sticking his nose into the heart of the traffic. He’s got a nonstop motor and will find a way to win. He’s got good instincts with line traffic and has the vision to get through lanes to make the play. I’d like to see him move to LB as a senior, but we’ll see what happens.
