If you haven’t been paying attention, South Dakota is on a recent hot streak of WR talent, and the tradition seems to be alive and well in the 2028 class with Braylon Treasure. Sioux Falls’ product Treasure was dusting kids during 1v1s, displayed a good understanding of the route tree, and nuance as a route runner. Gotta like it when a kid is explosive and productive during competition.

Braylon is another one that is riser in this 2028 class since we last put it together and has already put together a sound Spring outing on the 7v7 circuit. He’ been on my radar since he was a middle schooler, but what I have seen really grow is how sound his hands are thru contact and high traffic areas. You would have to be blind to miss on how high Braylon gets with his vertical as he’s taken a few DBs for a “head tap” as the kids call it already this 7v7 season. He’s another on that should be in the “offer now” group for 2028 prospects in this South Dakota class in my mind.

When I look aheade at the upcoming release of our 2028 rankings, the biggest riser I can tell that will be in my top-tier will be 2028 wide receiver

of Sioux Falls O’Gorman. Braylon is one of the most impressive route-runner that’s out there in this class and showed it last summer at camps as a 2028 that has electric change of direction on his routes for his age. We’ve had this young man on our radar since he was an eighth grader playing 7v7 and is one of very few 2028s in the state getting a lot of attention from Division I schools this early.
