Townsend is coming off a historic type of season and looked good doing it. He’s got fantastic vision and patience in terms of letting his blocks develop. He carried the ball just under 350 times and averaged over 6 YPC. His 2150 rushing yards were 3rd in the state, and he added 25 TDs with that. I like that he’s got a good combination of speed, strength, and vision all in a frame that can hold up. It’s hard not to be impressed with him and what he brought to the table last year.
