How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?
I do well under high game pressure. For the last 4 years I have focused on my mental part of the game. My team scores a lot so my kicking game doesn’t look like the usual strategy. I have to place the ball inside the 20 because I know if I flip the field my defense has got my back and we’ll get the stop we need. This could be on kickoffs where I do a squibb or a sky left/right kick, or on punt.
Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?
I am a team player that believes my team is my family and I want the best for each and every one on the field. Every time I step on the field, I give it my all because I know it doesn’t only impact me, but my effort impacts my team.
I am reliable, kind, humble, and dependable. Integrity and leadership are very important in my foundation. I also like to laugh and have fun!
Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?
National Honor Society, Active member of leadership team, Honor Roll all 3 years of high school.
What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?
I am an active member of the leadership team at the high school and within the community. I engage and complete many volunteer hours on behalf of National Honors Society. I also mentor several younger kickers and punters within the community.
Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.
As a kicker the biggest challenge is continuing my mental performance and focus to do my best. During high pressure moments over the last 4 years, this has been one of the biggest challenges. I do well with this and continue to ground myself for my team in every situation, improving and growing daily.
What type of college are you looking for?
I am looking for a a good fit academically and athletically. A place that feels like home and where I have a strong brotherhood around me. A coaching staff that wants and believes in me and my development.
