I only got to watch a couple of reps from Zu’Bril, but I absolutely like what I see thus far.
He’s a big defensive tackle with a ton of potential. Already has phenomenal size as an incoming freshman, though he isn’t 6’3″ quite yet. Where Zu’Bril finds most success is in his effort and hands. Still quite raw, but Zu did a great job of hand fighting and not allowing the opposing O-Lineman to execute a big punch. Also, Zu does a great job keeping his legs moving throughout the rep (lots of younger, more raw D-Linemen stop their feet).
Considering this is an incoming freshman at Belleville already with very promising traits, I think there’s a high likelihood that Zu develops into a college prospect quickly.

A big, naturally powerful kid that moves much better than one would think just looking at the 6-foot-3 and 240-pounds he lists himself at. On film he plays a significant amount of stand up Defensive End, which is interesting because he screams interior Defensive Tackle to me. However, then again, he has also been used coming out of the backfield as a lead blocker–which shows off his ability to move.
