Expert Analysis
Zack Reyes | Prep Redzone Scout
Truley continued to put his name on the radar as one of Nevada’s most underrated CBs with his strong play in the Clark secondary last season. He’s a talented cover-corner with ideal length and reach to his 6’1″/170 frame. He’s a highly physical tackler on the perimeter for his slender build and consistently puts himself position to make plays on the ball in zone coverage. Truley offers major CB upside and should be on the FCS or D-II radar at a minimum.

Truley was a new addition to PRZ NV’s 2027 rankings after breaking out as a versatile playmaker in the Clark secondary this season recording 30 tackles and 4 INTs. He’s an instinctive defender that showed his ability to diagnose and anticipate route combinations from the safety, CB, and nickel spots. Still growing into his 6’/170 frame but showed some flashes of athleticism and physicality out on the perimeter as a sophomore. He’s quick to react to the flats and a strong tackler in space. Truley should continue to rise the 2027 DB ranks with the level of raw upside he showed in 2024.
