Brandon Caesar Brandon Caesar 6'4" | 250 lbs | DL Cleveland Heights | 2025 State OH made a name for himself after his freshman season for his ability to shed blocks and bring down ball carriers. Caesar’s physical style of play paired with his 6’4 frame at 250 lbs make him a commanding presence on the field already. He plays with a low center to get under offensive tackles and control them from snap. With his long arms, he can extend on offensive linemen to use his quick reaction to attack incoming ball carriers. His quickness off the ball can overwhelm and give him the advantage on the play before it starts. Caesar’s speed once past the point of attack allows him to get after quarterbacks in the pass rush and his quick hips give him an advantage to cut down on their ability to scramble out of plays. Outside of football, Caesar is one of the top wrestlers in the area giving him another sport to shine in. Since gaining offers before his sophomore season from schools like Penn State and Kentucky, Caesar started off 2023 with a number of offers leading up to his biggest offer from Notre Dame last month.

In 2022, Brandon helped the Cleveland Heights Tigers to a 10-win season and advance to the 2nd round of the playoffs. He plays as a DE. Against the run, he is quick off the ball, quickly locates the ballcarrier and uses his very good play strength to make the tackle near the LOS. Against the pass, he effectively uses his very good play strength and physical toughness to defeat the block from the OT. He shows good range in pursuit while playing with a high motor before forcing the QB to pass the ball earlier than anticipated leading to an interception.

The first thing you notice about Brandon Caesar Brandon Caesar 6'4" | 250 lbs | DL Cleveland Heights | 2025 State OH is that he passes the look test. At 6’4 250 he doesn’t look like a sophomore. He has the strength to walk offensive linemen into the backfield. He has the athleticism to make a spin move or dip his should and beat his man to the gap. Unfortunately, Brandon has been out all season with an ankle injury. Caesar has offers from the likes of Kentucky, Michigan, and Penn State.

Another potential Ohio blue-chipper, 6’4, 250 lb. DE Brandon Caesar Brandon Caesar 6'4" | 250 lbs | DL Cleveland Heights | 2025 State OH out of Cleveland Heights has burst onto the recruiting scene like the Kool-Aid Man through a plaster wall when Michigan State became his first offer (and first reported recruiting attention of any kind) on October 18th. The young buck, who also carries a 3.8 GPA, doesn’t even have any updated sophomore tape, so I can’t give you a proper evaluation, but make sure to stay tuned with PrepRedzoneOH once his film comes out. More recruiting love is on the way as well. Keep it up, Brandon!
