I was excited to finally get to see the Connecticut prospect play live and in person. From early on in the camp it was clear he was going to be one to keep an eye on. Was a great slot receiver on offense but an even better pure corner on the defensive side of the ball. Played with loose hips and fought for every ball. Surprised me with his size at 5-foot-10 and 153 pounds, with good muscle mass. He’ll be at Brookfield High School next year.

was winning reps wherever he lined up, as a DB he made even some of the top wideouts really struggle to create any space. Williams also did a really good job of finishing plays, getting his hand on the ball and working through contact to break up passes. Williams is a stud and was probably in contention with Wood for the top overall player at camp.

Going from the Pacific Northwest over to the Northeast, 2027 Connecticut Defensive Back Brady Williams is a prospect that has caught my eye recently. Lists himself at 5-foot-9 and 150-pounds but those measurements seem a little embellished, by my eye. What’s certainly not embellished is his ability to play on an island. He’s as true an Athlete as you’ll find in the Nutmeg State for the class of 2027. Extremely well put together with impressive weight room numbers. Moves very efficiently and deliberately with very little wasted motion. Equally fast and quick. I haven’t seen a better pure corner in New England yet for this 2027 cycle.
