His stat line may not show as much with just four receptions for 45 yards and a touchdown to go along with 2.5 tackles, but the senior wide receiver was all over the field on Friday. If he wasn’t making plays, he was doing as much as he could to get to the ball. With Schipper under almost constant pressure, Bodensteiner was his quarterback’s “screw it, he’s down there somewhere” receiver.

The senior caught the only score of the first half, going up and getting a swing pass way above his head in the red zone and making the DB miss to score. Earlier in the game, when the Go-Hawks were struggling to move the ball and get first downs, he laid out for a pass that ricocheted off one of his teammate’s hands and snagged it out of the air for one of WSR’s few first downs of the first quarter.
