Junior quarterback Braddox Broughton Braddox Broughton 6'1" | 190 lbs | QB Sapulpa | 2027 State OK is on our shortlist of players to watch from the standpoint of big jumps from one year to the next. Broughton started for Edison as a freshman and then moved to Sapulpa last year. In his first season as Sapulpa’s starter, Broughton threw for a little over 1,500 yards and 19 touchdowns. Not bad production from a first year starter in a new environment. Now, with a full offseason under his belt and a year of experience with the Chieftains, we think that Broughton could take a major leap forward, becoming one of the better quarterbacks in Class 6A-2. He’s definitely trending in the right direction.
