San Clemente safety Brad Gerken Brad Gerken Brad Gerken 5'11" | 190 lbs | DB San Clemente | 2023 CA announced his commitment to Bucknell last week.

Gerken is a ball-hawk safety who had 80 tackles this season with three interceptions. He showed impressive skills in man coverage at the Prep Redzone Stock Up Showcase last January.

He was First Team All-League this season and visited Bucknell on December 9.

San Clemente’s defense was very impressive in a 23-6 win over Corona del Mar last week.

Gerken had one of the biggest plays of the game with an impressive interception with under a minute left in the first half that led to a score. He also added five sacks in the win.

He and the San Clemente defense have one of its toughest test of the season this week against Edison. Another timely turnover by Gerken would be very helpful for the Tritons in that game.
