Bobbie Boyd closes out not only the top ten athletes but also the top 50 overall prospects in his class. Some say we over ranked Bobbie Boyd, that is only the case when you consider his recruitment. The young man’s tape proves his rank to be justifiable at the very least. I’m on the edge of my seat to see where the young man eventually commits, as we all know that program will end up with the steal of the state. I’m also intrigued as to where he will have a future at the next level. Boyd is an opportune runner that boasts a ferocious running style. Yet his skills at defensive back are trustworthy despite his size. This kid will get an opportunity with an FCS program, I wouldn’t bet against the kid to make the most of said opportunity when it reveals itself.

Bobby is an absolute play maker for the Mckeesport Tigers. He has the strength to sustain great top end speed. Boyd is good at finding daylight & finishing TD runs from great distances. His burst allows him to accelerate to top speed in just a few steps. Bob is able to plant & cut off of one foot running full go. On defense he displays great pound for pound strength. Boyd is a sure tackler who doesn’t allow extra yardage once he makes contact. He possesses a knack for finding the ball and pummeling whoever has it. Bobbie will be a major contributor on special teams collegiately. Boyd is also talented at defensing the football & consistently making plays on it.
