Beau was very efficient and has shown vast improvement in multiple areas. First and foremost, Beau looks significantly bigger and stronger than in years past.
This allows him to be a great run threat paired with Isaac. Beau had a ton of carries and was a solid north-south runner with quite a bit of power but not a ton of contact balance (fell forward, rarely broke free). Plus, he was efficient with his few passing attempts.
Definitely a ton of improvement and good upside at the college level. If Beau wants to play college ball, he could develop at the D3 level or fit right in with an NAIA program.

Beau is a great quarterback who will face a new challenge facing teams in the newly-formed River Cities Alliance (RCA). Beau is a pro-style quarterback who has a great foundation but just needs to keep repping the position with focus on IQ, throw power, and accuracy. He stands in the pocket, delivers good throws, and his play is definitely good enough to get a leg up on any RCA team. Where he struggles is with his decision-making and arm talent. He had 13 touchdowns to 4 interceptions, but had several other turnover-worthy plays. You can’t say he plays scared, but he does take too many risks with the football. His arm strength isn’t bad, but his short throws could be delivered with a bit more juice and his long balls need more accuracy and touch before be can play at the next level. Beau is better than 90% of other QBs in this class, but does need to work on a few things before he gets a ton of college attention.

It’s been a long time coming for Beau. Since he arrived at Coopersville, he’s been an intriguing prospect since his freshman season, and I know he’s been working his tail off preparing for the starting role. He’s another Powerstrength guy, which I love to see. He’s tested out as having a 35in vertical, 119in broad jump, 1.51 10-yd, and 22 chin-ups. He’s insanely fit, he’s well-repped at the JV level and during offseason camps, and without a doubt, he’s ready. I honestly can’t say much about Beau’s fundamentals or consistency on-field but I am very optimistic.
