Hunter is another lineman that’s future reside in the MAC as he is a Central Michigan commitment. The first thing that pops about Hunter is How well hunter moves from his left tackle position. Hunter displays very light feet and pulls around the corner from his tackle spot with ease. Hunter does a really good job knocking defenders hands down and getting his powerful body at an angle to push defenders out of there gap and create space for his backs to scamper through. Coopersville head coach Ed Kaman knows a thing or two about developing lineman and his hand print is all over Hunters development. Watch out for Hunter this fall. He won’t be hard to find on Friday nights.

Hunter has started gaining a ton of traction on the recruiting trail, and for good reason. I think a MAC team would get a steal with this dude. He’s big, physical and versatile. I think he can play anywhere on the offensive line and be just fine. His first step is quick, and his punch is violent. When he pulls, he gets where he’s going in a hurry and delivers massive power. He’s a pancake machine that should have an unbelievable 2026.

Hunter is one to watch for. Coopersville has had some really solid offensive line play, and Hunter is looking like another stud in the making. Big, physical and has the bend and athleticism to be extremely difficult to get around for pass rushers. He has no issue opening gaps for his backs in the run game. Whether it’s in the pass or run game, his effort never waivers. Very deserving to be a top 20 offensive lineman in the state, with all of the makings of someone that could raise that stock even more over the offseason.

Coopersvile did it again. They continue to produce great offensive linemen and Hunter is another example of a rising star in the trenches. He’s big and physical, has good mobility and man does he bring some devastating hits.
I first noticed his ability to get off the line. He has a nice first step, doesn’t waste much movement and does a great job of locking onto his assignment right away. He stays low, drives his defender, disposes of them and moves to the next. He continues doing his job right to the whistle, which I love. In the passing game, he continues to stay low, stay agile and doesn’t fall for anything. He is incredibly disciplined and does a great job to not lunge or get tied up. Hunter will have my eye for the next couple of seasons for sure!

Coopersville is quickly becoming an offensive line factory. I had watched Hunter during the first round of playoffs and came away quite impressed.
A lot of the good impression game by nature of the blocking schemes Hunter was asked to execute. I’ve rarely seen Sophomores capable of consistently pass, reach, base, down block (etc). I’ve seen fewer with the size Hunter has.
On tape, you can easily see Hunter’s competence in all-around run blocking. He’s strong, smart, and agile enough to execute practically any block. My one big nitpick right now is his footwork- Hunter tends to false step a lot. Still, a very good lineman who I’d expect to be a GLIAC prospect in a year’s time.
