Here’s a 6’4, 240-pound interior defensive lineman hidden away at Abington High School. This isn’t my first time writing about Basil Walter Basil Walter 6'3" | 235 lbs | DL Abington | 2024 State PA , yet I feel as though I should shine light on this young man a bit more often. Camping, working in the weight room, Walter is a current junior that should have the spotlight this coming Fall. Gauging college coaches, however, it seems that many are still in the dark about many Abington prospects, Walter included. Can align anywhere between the c-gaps. Good second-phase winner, needs to work on his repertoire off the snap. Has the raw strength and power to shed after initial engagement. If he can work on his initial hand placement and closing speed, you can bet I’d rank him inside the top 300. He’s close. Big fan of his potential.
