is a player who is known for many things, which includes his ability to run with the ball in his hands, which makes him one of the better quarterbacks, especially in the state of Louisiana when it comes to being a dual threat. He is one of the players I am most excited to see develop, as I will be watching to see how his arm develops, along with how his accuracy develops. I believe he will be one of the better rushing quarterbacks in the state, if not the best, this season.

has had experience playing quarterback, but he is so talented that he has even played different positions in the offense, including wide receiver. He is great when it comes to yards after the catch, thanks to his ability to cut in open space. Smith continued to be a big play magnet for the program, as he was used in all aspects of the route tree. As a quarterback, Smith will be dangerous in the rushing attack and will be great with the option offensive scheme that they may use when he is in the gunslinging position. He can continue to grow as a playmaker, but what I am most excited to see is how he grows in the quarterback position. Regardless of what position he plays, he is bound to be great in 2026.
