Aushai Smith Aushai Smith 6'0" | 170 lbs | QB Destrehan | 2028 LA has had experience playing quarterback, but he is so talented that he has even played different positions in the offense, including wide receiver. He is great when it comes to yards after the catch, thanks to his ability to cut in open space. Smith continued to be a big play magnet for the program, as he was used in all aspects of the route tree. As a quarterback, Smith will be dangerous in the rushing attack and will be great with the option offensive scheme that they may use when he is in the gunslinging position. He can continue to grow as a playmaker, but what I am most excited to see is how he grows in the quarterback position. Regardless of what position he plays, he is bound to be great in 2026.
