The state of Louisiana has plenty of talented prospects in the class of 2028, especially when it comes to the quarterback position. Here is where each of the quarterbacks ranks in the class of 2028 thus far.

[player_tooltip player_id='1225686' first='Knox' last='Kiffin'] is the newest player to join the state of Louisiana, as he is even set to be the No. 1 quarterback entering the class of 2028 when it comes to The Boot. He is the son of current LSU Tigers head football coach Lane Kiffin and is one of the better gunslingers in the entire nation when it comes to understanding an offense and being able to work around some unique schemes. Kiffin is going to be a monster this season, and he is only getting started. The state of Louisiana will be well represented by the talented prospect, to say the least.

[player_tooltip player_id='1372164' first='Carson' last='Gurzi'] is just slightly behind Kiffin, as he is just a spot behind Kiffin in the positional rankings, but he is also only two spots behind Kiffin statewide when it comes to the class of 2028 in the state of Louisiana. Gurzi is a 6'1 frame and measures in at 200 pounds, which makes him slightly undersized compared to what he will be by the time he hits senior season, but he will still be a top player this season thanks to his ability to escape the pocket. This will be an intense battle for QB1 in the state when it comes to the class of 2028 for years to come.

When someone considers the state of Louisiana high school football programs, it is hard not to think about St. Augustine first. This is a program that has a plethora of talent and some underrated players in all classes. One of the best players in the class when it comes to St. Augustine is [player_tooltip player_id='1618849' first='Jaelle' last='Noble'], who is the gunslinger on the program. Noble is going to be an even bigger star on this roster and is one to watch closely, as he is just one national and positional spot behind Gurzi in the 2028 rankings. This means he is going to be in the competition as well.

Jackson is the next quarterback to make the list, as he is the No. 4-ranked player at the position in the class of 2028. He is the gunslinger for St. James High School and will be one to watch, as he looks to prove that he is one of the better players in the state as a whole when it comes to slinging the ball around. He has a beautiful deep ball and can move very well outside of the pocket. Jackson is going to be one to monitor when it comes to his progression; if he finds a way to get significantly better, he will be pushing for an even higher ranking.

[player_tooltip player_id='1848454' first='London' last='Padgett'] is arguably the best player in the state of Louisiana when it comes to making the most of each moment. Padgett has been consistent throughout his career and will be one of the better quarterbacks this season, as he will have the chance to succeed more in this offense. John Curtis Christian High School is set for a massive season, and it will be at the hands of their best players, which includes [player_tooltip player_id='1848454' first='London' last='Padgett']. Padgett is inside the top five when it comes to being ranked as a quarterback in the 2028 class when looking at Louisiana, but he is ranked No. 69 in the state when it comes to all positions combined. He will need to continue his success if he wants to rise in the rankings.
