Ahmetovic checks a lot of boxes as a future QB prospect with a good frame and blend of physical tools. 6’3” 195 lbs. he’s long and well-built already as a freshman. He’s an efficient passer with high level accuracy and pocket mechanics. Clean drop back landing with a well-balanced platform and strong base to drive the ball at the short/intermediate levels or push it vertically. The ball jumps out of his hand with velocity using good rotation in the hips and shoulders. Shows he can stand in the pocket under pressure, absorb contact, and still deliver an accurate ball with defenders in his face. Demonstrates an early ability to manipulate coverage with his eyes and work through a progression. Intriguing young prospect that could pop with varsity experience.
