Taking his first varsity snaps of the season in the middle of a huge game with major playoff seeding implications on the line, Anthony Palka Anthony Palka 5'10" | 175 lbs | QB Higley | 2027 AZ entered the game for Higley down 9-0 to a Desert Mountain team that won seven of their first eight games. In the midst of a true defensive battle between the two teams, the sophomore stepped up in a massive way for Higley and ended up throwing two touchdowns and a two-point conversion which proved to be enough with their stifling defense locking up the win. Despite completing only 50% of his passes, Palka’s performance was incredibly impressive, especially considering he was thrust into an offense that he’s had little-to-no reps with.
