Outstanding lateral quickness and closing speed excels in both man-to-man and zone coverage.
Ball Skills: Great hand-eye coordination with natural ball instincts; consistently gets hands-on passes and creates turnovers.
Tackling: Strong tackler in the open field; able to break down and deliver solid, sure tackles in space.
Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?
As a cornerback in football, my mentality is all about confidence, focus, and adaptability. I approach every play with the mindset that I’m the one who can shut down the receiver—whether it’s a big play or a subtle adjustment, I’m always ready. I stay calm under pressure, trust my instincts, and never back down from a challenge.
Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?
Black Student Union and sports fundraising.
What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?
Leadership: Vocal leader and mentor for younger teammates; leads by example with a strong work ethic and commitment to improving every day.
Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.
Losing someone close was one of the hardest things I’ve ever faced, and it shaped me in ways I couldn’t fully understand at the time. That kind of loss forces you to grow up fast and find strength in places you didn’t know existed. In football, I translated that experience into a mentality of resilience. When I hit the field, I carried that toughness with me. No matter what.
