Amari is another good-looking two-way lineman who shows some good things on both sides of the ball for the Storm. You can see his athleticism in his highlights as a pulling guard, as he lays out multiple defensive linemen on trap and power blocks. Defensively, though, Amari shines with his block-shedding ability – it doesn’t take him long to get rid of offensive linemen attempting to block him in either the run game or pass game. Active hands are impressive, and Amari makes plays in the backfield consistently.

Broome’s production and tape are starting to catch up to his athletic abilities on the interior of the defensive line. His strength pops on tape, but he’s an agile mover, and that’s what leads us to believe he has some yet unreached pass-rushing upside. He’s quite athletic and showed that with several impressive individual efforts this season, including an interception.

The big thing I like about Amari is his athleticism for his size. There are multiple occasions on film where he is chasing plays down from behind with hustle and effort. At the snap, Amari does a good job of getting off the ball and disengaging from blocks – especially in the running game. Amari can do this from any technique 0-4 in my opinion on the defensive line. I think he could play some end in a 3-man front also, but his strength and quickness combo are what’s leading the charge to the college interest he is receiving right now.

While Broome is ranked in the back of the rankings, we think he’s a guy who could climb the rankings and we’ve included him here as another guy to watch in 2025. Broome has a quick first step and though he’s a bit undersized as an interior defensive line prospect, he has plenty of strength to match interior offensive linemen. As he continues to improve his game, don’t be surprised if he makes some big plays next season.

Broome has bulked up quickly compared to what he used to be and you can tell on film that he got more comfortable as the season went on. There’s a lot of untapped potential here, some of it simply coming from Broome adjusting to his size and growing into his body. He flashes elite gap-shooting ability and when he combines that with the ability to hold up offensive linemen at the point of attack, he’s going to be a great prospect.

Amari has grown to 6’0 and 245 pounds per his Twitter profile, which is exciting stuff. The Stuart Cramer program has a number of talented younger prospects, and Amari is definitely one of them. When you take a look at the film, one of Amari’s strengths is stopping the run – he does a good job of taking on multiple blockers and still finding a way to get in on the tackle in the interior run game. I also like his overall hustle – there are a number of plays where the runner has reached the 2nd level of the defense and Amari defeats his block and gets in on the tackle.
