He also added a reception for eight yards, showing his versatility in the offense. Defensively, Johnson was a true playmaker, snagging two interceptions that shifted the game’s momentum. His ability to flip the field and contribute in multiple phases underscores his athleticism and football IQ. Johnson’s dynamic performance once again proved why he’s one of Benjamin Russell’s most reliable two-way threats.

He’s also quick to make decisions, I’m really impressed by his processing and how he performs under pressure- you can tell he’s experienced at the position.

I think Johnson’s best trait is his ability to throw on the move- he has some serious arm talent that lets him roll out and deliver some really beautiful passes while he’s on the run/off platform. With his athleticism, he opens up so much of what you can do offensively- it’s really fun to watch.“

Johnson was all over the field this week, hauling in two INTs and even a rushing TD on the opposite side of the ball.

It’s a blast watching Johnson play. He’s one of the most versatile playmakers in the state and deserves a lot more attention than he’s recieved. Be sure to watch some of his film below:

Jackson turned in another all-around performance from the back end, showing rangy instincts and an ability to make plays from anywhere on the field. He’s patient in coverage, reading quarterback eyes before exploding on routes with surgical closing speed.

Whether he’s squeezing passing lanes or making touchdown-saving tackles, Jackson plays with a blend of awareness and effort that makes him special. His angles in pursuit and physical finishes at the point of contact continue to separate him from most safeties in his class.
