The rising junior recorded 36 tackles and two interceptions last season, showcasing his instincts, physicality, and playmaking ability in the secondary. Parrish is a complete defensive back who can support the run, cover receivers, and create turnovers, making him a key piece of Southern Alamance’s defense heading into the season.

Parrish impresses me more every time I see him. I first evaluated him as part of a February newcomer class that included several players on this list. He’s a long, quick corner with good mirroring skills and some ball production. When we evaluated Alamance County defensive backs, he was the lone rising junior in the bunch.

Parrish had a strong varsity debut for Southeast Alamance as a sophomore, and it looks like he’s getting bigger, stronger, and faster so far this offseason. Given his athletic profile and technical abilities, Parrish may have the highest upside of anybody on this list. Where he finishes the season in these rankings will depend on how big a step he takes toward his ceiling.

The Southeast Alamance coaching staff isn’t afraid to play younger players, and Parrish benefited from that confidence in 2025. The sophomore corner has length and plenty of strength to match up with bigger wide receivers, and he flashed ball skills last year, too. He picked off two passes, returning one for a touchdown, and deflected a handful of passes, helping Southeast Alamance’s strong defense hold the opposition at bay.
