has been flying under the radar in recruiting so far, but he is a very talented quarterback entering his senior season for Johnsburg. Standing at 6’3″ and weighing 190 pounds, he is a lengthy quarterback who excels from the pocket. His quick release allows him to get the ball out rapidly in RPOs and quick game situations. Bravieri displays excellent touch on his passes, with the ability to drop the ball over defenders. He is poised for a standout senior year.
Bravieri is a long and athletic prospect out of Johnsburg who is an elite player in both the passing and rushing game. He contains all the desirables of a next level QB, including size, athleticism, and arm strength. Bravieri stands at 6’3, weighs 190 lbs, and runs a 4.6 40 yard dash. Once you turn on the tape, it’s easy to see his playmaking ability. Bravieri can throw the ball accurately when both dropping back and on the run. He throws with touch and velocity, often fitting the ball over second level defenders in the seam. And when running the ball, Bravieri can open it up and show off his elite speed. As this rising star heads towards his senior year, keep an eye on Bravieri next fall.
The Johnsburg signal caller was one of the most explosive quarterbacks in the state as a sophomore. Bravieri accounted for 28 touchdowns and over 2,500 yards. He stands at 6’3, weighs 190 lbs, and runs a 4.6 40. Bravieri has a smooth release that allows him to throw level 2 and level 3 balls with touch and accuracy. On level 1 throws, Bravieri utilizes a quick release that sends the ball out with strong velocity. He can make a lot of different throws and has the arm strength to stretch the ball vertically down the field. Heading into this season, Bravieri stock is on the rise, and he will be flying up recruiting boards as his junior year progresses.
Johnsburg has an impressive QB on their hands down in IL. The 6’3″ 190 lbs sophomore brings a dangerous dual threat ability to the field, and we got a glimpse of it on Saturday at the Prospect Tour in Franklin, WI. AJ blazed a 4.60 40 time, broad jumped 10′, and had a 7.5 L-Drill. All of which were the best among the QBs. The testing results had me excited to see what he brought to the table as a passer. No question he has the talent to be a next level signal caller. AJ already possesses a strong arm. The arm that can deliver the ball through tight, closing windows at the middle and deep portions of the field. He gets the ball out of his hand quick, and his control and pinpoint ball placement in the one on one battles was drawing rave reviews from the coaches in attendance. The underclassman was a 2,800+ yard passer last season. The sky is the limit for him over these next two seasons. Great day for the sophmore.
