I’m incredibly impressed with Lyles at the line of scrimmage- he pairs his size and quick hands to fly through blockers and get to the ball, consistently creating great plays in pursuit in the backfield. It’s seriously impressive watching him in the trenches, he’s a really talented underclassman with a big future ahead of him at Central.

Lyles has a unique blend of size, speed, and pursuit that allows him to be both a productive pass rusher and run defender. He has a great burst off the line of scrimmage and a set of pass-rush moves that he uses to fly by offensive tackles to get to the ball. Lyles is also a reliable tackler, he does a great job pursuing after the ball carrier and wrapping up, it’s impressive watching his effort to get to the ball. It doesn’t matter where he initially lines up, Lyles will find a way to impact the play. Keep an eye on him this fall, he could be an early contributor for Central’s defense this season!
