There’s a lot going on with his tape, but if you go back and watch both of the past two seasons, it becomes pretty clear:

can do just about anything, but he’s going to be a really good wide receiver. That just feels like the most natural version of him. The ball skills, the way he adjusts mid-air, how smooth he is working in and out of breaks… that stuff shows up consistently, and it’s the part of his game that feels the most translatable long-term. But what made this past season really interesting was seeing him step in at quarterback, because it showed a different side of him you don’t always get when he’s lined up outside. You got to see the elusiveness, how comfortable he is with the ball in his hands, how he can make people miss in space and extend plays instead of just being a target downfield. That adds context to everything he does at receiver, because now you know what it looks like when the play breaks down and he has to create. The versatility is great, and it’s part of why he’s so valuable right now, but the long-term picture feels pretty clear. Let him keep doing everything, sure, but there’s a really high-end receiver in there just waiting to take over.

‘s first game for McClintock was the kind of debut that reminds everyone why coaches love having an athlete like him under center. After sitting half the season due to transfer rules, he came out against Paradise Valley and played like he’d been waiting years for that moment. Running the show at quarterback, Whitaker accounted for five total touchdowns — throwing some pretty deep balls, ripping off long runs, and just generally making defenders miserable. He’s one of those guys where every snap feels like it could be a big play. His legs forced the defense to stay honest, opening things up for everyone else. More than just the stats, it was the confidence and energy he brought that made the Chargers look like a completely different team from the opening snap.

Whitaker made his mark as a sophomore by running crisp routes, hauling in every pass that came his way, and being exactly where the quarterback needed him. He carries himself with a quiet confidence on the field, always keeping a level head and letting his game speak for itself. His route-running is smooth, and he has a knack for setting up defenders before hitting another gear. That sneaky burst lets him blow by corners if they underestimate his speed, and he’s shown the ability to come down with tough catches in traffic by timing his jumps perfectly. Whitaker’s the kind of receiver who can beat you deep one play, then pick up a huge first down on a curl the next. There’s a natural feel to his game that’s usually reserved for older, more seasoned players, so it’s exciting to think about how good he’ll be by the time he’s done in high school.

Really impressive all-around skillset with length and positional versatility to be a two-way impact player. At 6’2” 180 lbs. he’s a dynamic athlete with outstanding body control and ball skills to attack the ball in the air. Good initial burst off the line gives him a strong drive phase before his break. Shows he can drop his hip level and use his fluidity to change directions and accelerate out of his cuts to create separation. Ball skills set him apart from other receivers his age, he competes for the ball at the high point with good extension and strong hands. Possesses a large catch radius that extends well outside his framework. Picked up his first offer from Kansas last week but expect his recruitment to skyrocket as he’s able to showcase his skillset going forward.

‘s sophomore year first-half highlights (below) starts off with him making an amazing one-handed grab along the sideline in the endzone. The clip is the epitome of Whitaker’s game all rolled up into one. His secure and reliable hands, his body control around the sideline, his ability to help his scrambling quarterback, and his clutch gene are all on full display within one single play. Beyond that, he does a great job of attacking zone defenses from the slot and is always a threat to score if he’s lined up on the outside. With his speed, defensive backs consistently struggle to keep up. Whitaker is proving to be one of the top playmakers in his class.

is in the midst of a breakout year as a just sophomore for Saguaro. The speedy wideout runs really crisp routes that get him plenty of separation when he needs it. He also possesses the ability to outjump just about everyone he’s going to be on the field with, which ends up making 50/50 balls seem a lot more favorable. With so much time to continue to improve his game, Whitaker could quickly become a very highly touted prospect.

is a remarkable athlete playing for Saguaro. A true weapon when he has the ball in his hands, and nearly as dangerous when trying to keep the ball out of everyone else’s hands. He has no problem getting physical with receivers at 6’1″ and 180 lbs and isn’t very often at a size disadvantage. With his athleticism, he doesn’t need the most impressive footwork to stick to his man. What stood out the most about Whitaker’s game was his ability to play his zone so efficiently. Making sure to read the quarterback, he did a nice job of both carrying receivers for an extra second or switching off a little early depending on what the situation called for. Whitaker will no doubt be a versatile weapon for Saguaro who will find multiple ways to put his skills to use.

is another athlete that people need to know about sooner rather than later. Coming out of the Deserts of Arizona, Aidan sizes up to be around 5-foot-11 and 155 pounds. On the football field, Aidan has proven to be nothing short of spectacular in terms of skillset. With him being one of the fastest guys on the field, you’re going to find him blazing through coverages or maintaining coverage on receivers. With his athleticism, Aidan can make plays on the ball that you don’t necessarily see every day. His sure-handed nature makes Aidan a prime target for quarterbacks when they are trying to complete quick passes and move the offense. From everything that I have seen from Aidan, it is clear that he is projecting to end up as one of Arizona’s top prospects.

Aidan is a ball-hawking defensive back coming out of the somewhat overlooked, yet talent-rich state of Arizona. At 5-foot-11 and 155-pounds, Aidan seems to be the complete package at defensive back with his speed, athleticism, and ball tracking ability. Aidan is fast enough to hang with any receiver on the field, and keep the ball away from them if his opponent is targeted in the pass game. He is also athletic enough to make plays on the ball that are not necessarily easy for anyone to do. Lastly, Aidan does a great job of tracking the ball in the air and intercepting the ball and taking it the other way. Overall, Aidan is seems like he has the potential to be one of the most dominant defensive backs coming out of this class. He played this year with Future U, which has been a feeder program for perennial powerhouse program, Saguaro.
