Standing 6’7 280 pounds Guthrie already has a frame of a D1 P4 offensive tackle. He bends and well and plays with a good pad level, which can be a challenge for players his height. He’s already grown into his body as a sophomore. You see good feet in a smooth kick step and his ability to get to the second level and deliver blows. Once he engages blockers, he has the leg drive that causes defenders to go backwards. Guthrie just needs to continue to get stronger as far as upper body goes to where he can finish violently. He already has P4 offers, but I expect his recruitment to go to another level summer camp season.
