Junior RB McGill has been very reliable in the running game and really compliments himself well to the steady passing game that keeps rushing lanes open. McGill is decisive in his cuts and really utilizes his offensive line by playing off their blocks. It will be important for McGill to stay healthy as he is a dependable and proven varsity RB.
Junior McGill really had a fine sophomore season rushing for (1,300) yards and (17) scores. McGill runs inside the tackle box really well and works off his OL blocks to keep drives alive in third and short situations. McGill averaged (5.1) yards per carry last fall and should be even more of a factor in the offense this season.

arrived on the varsity football scene in a big way last fall by rushing for (1,300) yards and (12) scores. McGill is comfortable running between the tackles but has some nice bounce to him to get outside and make the first defender miss. If healthy, he will have a shot at (1,500) plus rushing yards this fall.
