Stats: 45 Carries, 297 Yards, 3 TDsrnWhat a way to finish the regular season! Logan put the team, the buses, the school, everything he could find on his back with his 45 carries leading to a huge win over Onalaska. When I wrote about Logan is Week 1 I mentioned he had made a noticeable jump since his junior tape. It looks like he has improved more just during this season. The senior is a decisive runner who finds the lane quickly and then attacks north-south. Rufledt has a low center of gravity and the power/contact balance combo to consistently break through the arm tackle attempts. He is a tough, grind out the yards type of RB. I can’t wait to see the workhorse go to work in the playoffs.

Stats: 256 Rushing Yards, 4 TDsrnLogan is making a big early season push to be one of the biggest risers in the rankings after the season. Coaches, I suggest checking out the film of the early season breakout RB. Logan was a man on a mission this past Friday vs one of the top teams in the state. He ran hard, churned his feet through contact for extra yards, and always fell forward. Rufledt followed his blocks, showed patience behind the line, and showed some lateral agility between the tackles to avoid defenders in tight spaces. The 190 lbs senior has shown he can be a workhorse back and do the dirty work between the tackles. Plus he adds the ability to get outside of contain and do damage in space. I’ll be keep a close eye on the Tomah senior and the team’s hot start.
